Brewfestinista: Gathering of the Bines @ Two Roads

Brewfestinista was on the scene checking out the brews, shoes, and views.

Brew lovers were out at Two Roads Brewery in Stratford, CT. It was a cool spring evening.

There were many good microbreweries represented. There was bocci and bean bag toss games going on. The food truck selection was also varied from lobster to boozy ice cream to steamed burgers.

Besides the great beer being poured, Brewfestinista couldn’t help but note that the brewfest-goers were on point with their fashion, also.

The fashion vibe was relaxed denim, sandals, sneakers, and the gents were as on fleek as the ladies. Must be something in the water of the area…

See below of some notable Brewfestinista and Brewfestinista and what they were sporting while sipping.

Perhaps it will lend you inspiration to your next brewfest!

Brewfestinista: Brattleboro Brewers’ Fest 5.14.16

The weather was perfect, beer and cider were cold and tasty, and the brewfest fashions were on point.

Nothing prettier than a late spring day in southern Vermont.

A quick one hour and a half jaunt up 91-North landed Brewfestinista at the Brattleboro Brewer’s festival in southern Vermont.

We couldn’t have ordered better weather: 78F, plenty of sun, and a nice breeze. The location was a green verdant field with a beautiful backdrop of soft rolling hills. Oh la la Vermont!

30+ brewers and ciderers poured their wares for eager brewthusiasts. Three food trucks were on hand to offer wood-fired pizza, Thai, and classic sandwiches.

Spring Shoefies

Spring has sprung!

And that means going sockless in my collection of ballet flats. We still get cold, rainy days but soon it will be sandal weather.

Here are a few shoefies of my favorite looks.

Fashion Icon: Jamie Alexander

Jamie Alexander is knock-out in several ways.

She is effortlessly beautiful in a young Elizabeth Taylor way with her dark locks and piercing green eyes (Liz had violet eyes). She’s also a crazy talented actress who has played several acting roles that are women who can kick some serious arse: Lady Syth in the movie Thor and lately as Jane Doe in the breakaway new television show, Blindspot.

Patterson, Jane Doe, and Natasha Zapata: the ladies of Blindspot.

If you haven’t heard about the new hit television show, Blindspot, you were either living under a rock this past fall or living on the moon.

I am a huge fan of this show mainly due to the action and the fact that the women can kick as much butt as the men.

Starring Jamie Alexander as Jane Doe and Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, amongs a cast of very talented actors, our protagonists kick, chase, and save the day as they try to solve the tattoos that have been found on Jane’s body.

I asked myself, if I were to do some styling for Jane Doe as she went undercover on these FBI and espionage type of missions, what the heck should she wear?

Well, I found a few looks featured here that I think would look killer on Jane (or Jaime) in upcoming episodes.

The handsome FBI agent Kurt Weller (Stapleton). Tough, protective of Jane, and just too darn handsome!

I would see Jane wearing this if Zapata and Patterson got her out of her hoodie and jeans and into a dress.
